The Role:
This is a great opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a very successful company based in Rotorua. This is a great career opportunity with a renowned organization who are leaders in design and manufacturing of Heavy on and Off-Road Transport Trailers and Equipment.

You would need to;
• Demonstrate proficiency in 3D modelling and familiarity with 2D   drawing. 
• Show full knowledge of drafting and relevant engineering standards   and tolerances. 
• Maintain a high standard of drafting skills with practical drafting   experience. 
• Accurate and timely produce drawings with attention to detail. 
• Have experience in troubleshooting and detailing changes to   drawings. 
• Produce a high level of engineering designs with accurate as-built   drawings from feasibility through to manufacture. 
• Liaise with mechanical, electrical and engineering personnel to make   design improvements for production, reduce manufacturing costs and increase   reliability without compromising quality. 
• Provide solutions for enhanced safety, environmental impact,   reliability and increased quantity. 
• Help ensure documentation is complete, retrievable and of high   quality. 
• Keep up with regulatory requirements as they impact on engineering   and certification. 
• Where necessary conduct basic checks during build. 
• Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and engage with   fellow professional engineers

This is a full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am to 4.30pm.  The successful applicant will join the Design Team based at 150 View Road Rotorua.
